	History
•	Three students of the Masters program of Kiev Polytechnic Institute's Computer Science Department founded Kiev Software Factory Ltd. (KSF) in 1992. KSF became the first tenant of the Kiev Business Incubator, which was first established at that time in cooperation between the Polytechnic Institute in Kiev and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. At that time, the Kiev Business Incubator provided KSF with the necessary computer equipment and promotional marketing activities needed to establish the company. In addition, KSF founders and employees were able to acquire the essential western business logic by learning about marketing concepts and management principles in courses and workshops provided by the Kiev Business Incubator in order to understand and easily cooperate with western businesses.
•	Today KSF's Research and Development Department consists of 10 project managers and 52 developers. Each project manager is fluent in English, has either a M.SC. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, at least 5 years of software development experience, at least 3 years of project management, and has worked at customer sites in the United States and western Europe. Moreover, every developer has a M.Sc. degree in computer science, at least 5 years of software development experience, has worked alone in projects and in teams, and has good verbal and written English skills.
