Value: We believe KSF provides great value. Using KSF allows us to be more cost-effective and competitive in the marketplace.

Ability to meet deadlines: When KSF promises to deliver by a certain date, they deliver. Conversely, if I impose a tight deadline and explain the importance of a deliverable, they find a way to deliver what we need. As a manager, this flexibility and reliability is invaluable to planning and delivering products on time.

Management: I find it very easy to manage the KSF development team, even though they are far away — and I have never spoken with them on the phone. In fact, it takes less effort to manage KSF than it does to manage my own developers here.

Scope of Work: When we require a specific design, KSF can always take our specification and implement it. However, if we don't have time to specify and document a solution, KSF has the technical ability to research and determine a good approach to the problem. The ability to offload design work is invaluable to me."

Honestly, I would be hard pressed to find a negative to share with you. The KSF guys, individually and collectively, are very competent and very efficient. They overcome the distance problem by communicating questions promptly by email which ensures that nothing falls through the cracks - I correspond with team members virtually every day - and taking initiative on important issues as opposed to waiting for instruction. If they were less of a "point and shoot" outfit, the distance would be an issue but KSF has a lot of experience working with overseas firms (large and small) and this is simply not an issue for them. They foster a genuine sense of partnership by bringing a very positive attitude to mid-stream changes that inevitably occur in complex projects and they consistently offer suggestions that lead to a better product as opposed to merely doing the minimum amount of work required to meet the contract. I have never had a schedule or quality problem with any of the work that they have performed.
I feel lucky to find these characteristics in any contract firm but given the fact that KSF's rates are significantly less than local firms, I can say with confidence that I have not found a better value than KSF. I always turn to KSF first when I need a contractor to perform development work.
I'm usually pretty good about finding something negative to say in a letter of recommendation but KSF generates top-notch work, executes in an orderly manner, and provides the services at tremendous rates. I don't ask for anything else from a contractor."
